(i) Eukaryotes possess membrane-bound organ┬нelles.

(i) Prokaryotes lack membrane-bound organelles.

(ii) Nucleus of the cell has nuclear membrane. Example: higher plants and animals.

(ii) Nucleus is not bounded by membrane. Example: bacteria and blue-green algae.
